CancelSub (cancelsub.link) was created as an open-access public interest utility to help consumers escape predatory dark patterns and deceptive subscription traps. We believe user privacy is non-negotiable.

Unlike traditional web directories, CancelSub is built with a zero-tracking, zero-data-collection architecture.

2. What Data We Collect

• Zero Personal Identifiers: We do not have user accounts, profiles, registration forms, newsletter popups, or email capture fields.
• Zero Payment Credentials: We never handle credit cards, bank accounts, or billing information.
• Zero Tracking Cookies: We do not set any first-party or third-party tracking, advertising, or cross-site analytics cookies.
• Zero IP Logging: All web requests are terminated at the edge via Cloudflare Workers without building behavioral profiles or persistent server-side access databases.

3. Outbound Cancellation Links

Every link on CancelSub points exclusively to the genuine, authenticated self-service portal of the third-party provider (for example, spotify.com, apple.com, paypal.com).

When you click a direct cancellation button, your browser navigates directly to that external domain. Their respective terms of service and privacy policies govern your interaction on their platform. CancelSub has zero access to your credentials or active sessions.

4. GDPR / CCPA Compliance

Because CancelSub processes no personal data, there is no personal data to sell, share, or monetize under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You do not need to submit opt-out requests because we never opt you in to begin with.
