Go directly to the Amazon Prime membership hub at amazon.com/mc/manage.

Click on 'Manage Membership' in the top right menu bar.

Select 'Update, cancel and more' followed by 'End Membership'.

Navigate through Amazon's 3-step retention maze, clicking 'Continue to Cancel' and finally 'Cancel Membership'.
Amazon intentionally uses dark patterns: buttons labeled 'Keep My Benefits', 'Remind Me Later', or 'Pause' are highlighted in bright yellow, while 'Continue to Cancel' is subdued.
If you have not used any Prime benefits (such as Prime shipping, Prime Video, or Prime Music) during the billing period, you are entitled to a full refund upon cancellation.
Canceling Amazon Prime does NOT automatically cancel add-on Prime Video channels (Paramount+, Starz, Max). Those must be canceled under amazon.com/yourmembershipsandsubscriptions.
